AQUALOGY’S experience in the design and build of wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) is backed by 506 wastewater treatment plants operating worldwide, with a treatment capacity of over 4,222,153 m3/day.

Some of the notable facilities in recent years include the Mapocho WWTP in Santiago de Chile, with a treatment capacity of 570,000 m3/day, the Torrevieja WWTP, designed to treat 60,000 m3/day, and the Arroyo de la Miel WWTP in Malaga, with a capacity of 40,000 m3/day.


The drinking water treatment plants (DWTP) designed and built by AQUALOGY use both conventional flocculation–filtration–chlorination treatments and state-of-the-art drinking water production technologies (membranes, microfiltration, disinfection using CO2, etc.).

Our proven experience in building DWTPs can be seen in the 250 drinking water treatment facilities in operation all over the world, with a total treatment capacity of 6,020,657 m3/day.

Our most recent and significant works include the works for the project to improve the reverse osmosis water treatment process at the Sant Joan Despí DWTP in Barcelona, with a capacity of 206,000 m3/day.


Although AQUALOGY’S main business is the design and construction of all kinds of water treatment facilities, we have a team of technicians who specialise in executing water infrastructures in general:

  • Drinking water supply networks: catchment (weirs and water intake works), pumping stations, pressure pipes, reservoirs and water tanks, distribution networks and network renovations.
  • Wastewater and sewerage treatment networks: pressure pipes, collectors, outfalls, storm tanks, etc.
